Said that when polls close and the very first results start coming in, expect them to show Gillespie leading comfortably, because NOVA hasn’t rolled in yet.

One of the keys too is Chesterfield. Very red but dwarfed but the city of Richmond and of late Henrico County. I was at the Kaine party in 2012 and when they got the Chesterfield numbers everyone knew it was over. Chesterfield has to absorb as much of the city and Henrico as possible. The numbers in 2012 were both low for the Repubs and Dems hard work there paid off with gains all over.
