Democrats Problem Message Problem Is As Much A Media Problem.
The Democrats biggest problem besides some of there messaging is a media problem. The MSM tends to coddle GOPPERS while compromising or even ignoring what Democrats do. The MSM allows the GOP to come out with absorbing and lies with little substantial rebuttal.
Add to the MSM malfeasance hate radio and FOX news are the only media in many markets. Huge corporations stripped the country of growing progressive radio during the Obama years. Many communities lost progressive talk radio to sports, religion or other conservative formats. So 95% of local radio has a ultra right wing hate radio media.
For thousands of miles all you get is Hannity, Limbaugh, O"Reilly (when he was at FOX), et al, plus local local hate mongers. So the most rural communities who have only one radio station that also gives farm reports get 24/7 hate and division.
Democratic initiatives are picked apart down to the last period while GOP initiatives are pretty much passed over with generic meaningless political rhetoric.
Over al we have an "unfair and unbalanced" media for the most part. The one bright spot is that the real news gets out eventually and bad media may no longer be able to deliver.
The new GOP goal is to take over and poison whatever media that is left they do not control. Fox's nonycoverage of the election is where they want to go locally.
