I think either: females should wear 3 piece suits, just like the males; or, males should wear speedos and other revealing attire, hubba, hubba, .
I mean, why have such different standards for the sexes? It's way past time we demand real equality in the media. NOT SARCASM.

Give women same 'just checking out the merchandise' rights as men.

(26,107 posts)The older weather women and newscasters used to dress professionally. They retired. The new women are wearing skintight, cleavage-showing shades of red. Consistently. Which tells me management is probably behind it.

(615 posts)Instead of trying to define what they should wear?
And why are we limiting what they wear? Why are we not limiting to what body type all women must be to be on tv? And what type of weight they should be in order to be on tv?
If someone says that a woman is dressed too provocatively someone will claim slut shaming. If someone claimes that someone is dressed too conservatively someone else will call that person a creep.
I don't get why we want to try and control so much when really someone shouldn't be FORCED to do anything in terms of how they want to dress or how they want to look.
