Peggy Noonan back again on Morning Joe...

it's been a while since we saw you Peggy darlin'. You were gutsy to go on the show, I give you that.

But dear ole Peg hasn't seen much light. She was holding forth and telling Democrats they have to start running "moderates" if they ever hope to win the White House again.

Well, Peggy, what does that mean exactly? She didn't tell us what the term meant. In fact, she was defiant that Tuesday was really a Dem victory.

I guess she'll do as comedy relief and I hope she does. Kate McKennon will have a new role to play on SNL. That will be fun to watch...

She's in love with the sound of her own voice - ReTHUGs have a meme to peddle.
To be kind 'eff' all of them. That's why I love Obama - When Dems took that 2010 beating he called it straight - we got a shellacking. Even the media are now using that word for Tuesday's ReTHUG slaughter but you'll never hear a ReTHUG admit that they were whipped.

2. It's pretty sad when Joe voices the most liberal opinions on the panel.

And he only qualifies because he's anti-Trump most mornings.

Obviously, they trot out Harold Ford, Jr. for left-wing balance, which is ridiculous, since he'd have to move left to qualify as centrist. Plus, usually Ford's greatest contribution to discussion is to make long-winded speeches that present nearly zero discernible fact or opinion, just blather.

Although Peggy's TV appearances are usually cringe-worth (she always seems so pleased with her every statement, as though nothing but pearls of wisdom depart her lips), she did say something nice this morning about how women channeled their outrage, organized, and gained real political power. --One small bit of credit where credit is due.

What does she think women voters will do when their reproductive rights are being trampled on constantly by GOP members of Congress and the orange ape himself (apologies to apes)?

We need to run candidates whose ideologies and temperaments match those of their constituents.

I don't disagree. But I think we're in a tough place on this issue. I get people all over the country contacting me for money. During the primaries, my attitude is generally that local races should be run locally. When we get to the general election, okay, then we can talk. But unfortunately there is a reality that national groups get involved. And that includes organizations like DCCC, DSCC etc. We also have national figures like Obama, Clinton, etc. getting involved in otherwise "local" races, and frequently at the primary level. So then it comes back full circle to whom I should back, and on what criteria.

She followed George Will's path who did the same. Her contract includes appearing on MSNBC.

It could be that with Fox's 24/7 cheerleading Trump, if she has her limits.

on her and her evolving inanity... Anyone remember who that was?? Had to be on a much earlier version of DU...

Every time I see 'Ms.' Peggy, I wish I'd bookmarked that piece.
