Do the repubs have someone waiting in the wings to replace him?

Reminds me of the scene in a Cheers episode where Woody is running for city council, and his opponent gets caught up in a scandal.

Do they think the seat is still winnable if they get a replacement in quick enough?

Besides McConnell, the other Republican senators weighing in included Jeff Flake of Arizona, David Perdue of Georgia, John Thune of South Dakota, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Cory Gardner of Colorado, Richard C. Shelby of Alabama and Patrick J. Toomey of Pennsylvania.

On edit: you can now add John McCain's name to the growing list

The allegations against Roy Moore are deeply disturbing and disqualifying. He should immediately step aside and allow the people of Alabama to elect a candidate they can be proud of.

13. If Moore steps aside, they'll just replace him with Strange.

Despite the lesser support for Strange vs Moore, that could pull out a win for the R's, and they know that.

us AL dems get tired of all the Southern-redneck-hick bashing sometimes, particularly when it's aimed too broadly.

My GOD, finagling the ages of the girls, accusing them of lying, smearing them, obfuscating, the whole nine yards. You know, all the stuff that points toward GUILTY.
