They fill a very important niche of understanding economics and finance and explaining the topics in factual and understandable language.

They zero in on the weasel words used by Repub interviewees and drill down.

Sometimes there is not enough time in the segment to do it thoroughly, which I think the guests know down to the second and go into the Koch memorized script. When Ali or Steph cut them off to "answer the question", they dance around before continuing the script or even starting over, because they can't remember where they left off. Both painful and darkly hilarious.
