Kim Davis may face a challenger she knows well during her reelection campaign

Disgraced county clerk Kim Davis made news yesterday when she announced she would run for reelection despite being jailed for refusing to do her job. Davis was imprisoned for five days after refusing to issue marriage licenses after the Supreme Court ruled in favor of marriage equality.
Video of two men being denied a marriage license quickly went viral and now one of those men has made his own announcement. David Ermold is considering running against Davis for the seat so she cant demean any other county residents and disrespect the government office.
If Kim Davis was reelected in that position without an appropriate fight, Id probably regret it for the rest of my life, Ermold said. I think I could win, Ermold continued. I dont think that she has learned anything from the experience at all. I really, truly think that she feels like she is right. I really dont think she cares at all about what civil rights are. The state of Kentucky was ordered to pay over $230,000 in legal fees for Davis shenanigans. The money will be paid out of taxpayers wallets.
Ermold says he thinks he could win after the level of support the couple received in 2015, but is worried about raising money for the campaign. He is currently strategizing with his husband, but if the amount of interest the drama got when it happened is any indicator, money will likely come flowing in to help him defeat the nations most homophobic religious hypocrite.
