Also known as Kayla (bet you didn't know that), she's been uncharacteristically absent since all these sordid revelations have surfaced. Has she been on a conservative cookie baking marathon for the past month and missed the news?

In nearly every sex scandal from Clinton to Vitter the spouse has stood by her man on camera to at least show forgiveness and support. Even Mrs Sanford uncomfortably showed up after the governor reappeared from his hike up the 'ol the Appalachian Trail. Sure, Wiener's wife filed papers, but spousal silence is not something that happens in politics.

Can't Kayla come out and either tell us she shares her husband's position that women are partisan liars or that she's proud that he had the decency to ask the mother's permission first, like a true gentleman?

I know this isn't her fault, but if he hopes to convince the voters he's not a lecherous pedophile her moral input is politically required. Someone should at least check that she's alright.

Kayla Moore, wife of Republican Alabama Senate nominee Roy Moore, says she and her husband intend to sue the Washington Post for defamation after they published allegations that he had inappropriate sexual contact with a 14-year-old at age 32.

In a statement after the Post (and Breitbart) published reports of his alleged inappropriate relationships, Moore’s campaign issued a statement claiming “this garbage is the very definition of fake news and intentional defamation.”

As right-wing journalist Steve Deace noted, their choice of words was intentional.

“Judge Moore’s wife, Kayla, informed me today they used the word ‘defamation’ in their statement for a reason — they intend to pursue legal action against the Washington Post,

He was an up and coming politico who was 38 and had no wife..someone told him he needed a wife to climb that ladder successfully...so he found him a wife,,

she got some local prestige...got her a family and probably plenty of cash, a nice house & they probably had an understanding that he could do his thing, as long as there was no "bad press" involved..

I once had a friend who KNEW her husband was a world class cheater,.she said it was okay with her..she had a nice house, didn't have to hold down a job, had two great kids and he was a presentable husband
