Dear Senator Franken;
I just read your statement concerning your past actions. I commend you for taking full responsibility for your actions. There are too many in D.C. circles that will never have the courage to replicate your candor. I feel your apology is heartfelt and I'm relieved to know that someone in congress has the ability to learn from their mistakes. Thank you for committing yourself, in this statement, to "making it up" to women and reaffirming that you are their "ally and supporter."
Why do we not here similar words and sentiment from all the others who stand accused?
