IMHO, Franken is handling this the right way and DOTUS couldn't help himself.

politically, Trump's tweet abt Franken helps senator tremendously, turns story into outrage over Trump hypocrisy and his refusal to address Moore

(2,120 posts)... I agree with this article. Trump's taunting of Franken while he completely ignores Moore's and his own behavior merely illustrates how unfit this piece of shit is to be the White House janitor, much less the President. Had he completely ignored Franken as well it would at least have illustrated his cowardice and little more, but now he's put his cowardice AND hypocrisy as well as sniveling immature behavior on display for all to see.

(1,148 posts)How many more tweets are going to contain misspellings and grammar abuses? If someone worked in PR and typed that many press releases with misspellings, they'd be fired.
Just further proof of how there are different standards when you're born rich.

(8,694 posts)The photo analysis says it was not Xmas eve as she said, and not late at night it was 5pm. Also the photo was altered, removing marks to ID photographer. Lots of stuff on Twitter. Please dont abandon Franken yet. I think this is more of Stones dirty tricks.

(42,278 posts)if that is to happen. If he denied like the Rs do, the media would be all he's denying in the face of a photograph!!11
He's handling it just right. Oh, and I haven't "abandoned" Franken.

(15,696 posts)If Repukes investigate Franken's actions, which took place in front of multiple witnesses who didn't consider them bad enough to bring up when he was campaigning for the senate seat... then they have to investigate everyone else on that list of congressional offenders' $15 million payouts for which taxpayers have been billed without prior knowledge.
Also, Congress will then have to investigate Trump; otherwise, women voters (who are the only reason Rs are even entertaining the idea that they care about unwanted sexual harassment of any kind) might not believe they mean to do something -- anything-- about the issue.
They're too pig ignornat to see that Franken has begged them not to throw him into the brier patch.
