We Are Down To It's OK If Republicans Do It Or Evangelicals Do It. But Outrage Over Democrats.

The double standard for Republicans is so overwhelmingly outstanding. The Moore controversy reveals how this double standard is being deepened. Of course what Franken did was stupid and wrong, but we see the double standard in full play. Trump will never be questioned again about his behavior either by the media or GOP.

We are in an era of super tribalism and sectarianism. Things are no longer partisan. The tax bill proves that your taxes, law enforcement, government policy will be effected by how you voted in your state. The law and how government policy or how you are treated will come down to the color of your skin, your religions, how you voted, your party affiliation. We are going so far into the weeds now.

Now that the GOP is in power they want to punish people who do not vote for them. And the red and blue state will grow wider should this tax bill pass. And voter ID will get more stringent in red states and efforts will double down to make blue states red by going after voters NOT voting GOP.

The double standard has been around for along time. But I do believe we are seeing it on steroid. I hope some prominent GOP Senators get it in the neck on this issue. We know that there are GOP Senators who are deviants. And we have seen some actually applauded.

2. It Has Been For A Long Time. But We Are Seeing The GOP Double Down On It.

The GOP will go after Franken and Democrats with a vengeance. Yet they will STILL go lightly on their own. Their outrage over Moore are crocodile tears because they fear losing a seat. They fear backlash. The media plays along with this double standard. The media cannot be exonerated because they will not challenge Trump on his abuse.

What is worse is that the religious right is not being taken on over their support for Moore by the media. They would be labeled anti religion if they went after the religious right like they do Democrats on certain matters.

3. No one of us thinks it's OK if they do it. We simply don't have the power to do anything about

it when they do it.

4. Its not a double standard. Its all part of their game to get political power by any means.

Actions have proven there is no moral compass guiding any of them.
Any outrage is all part of their game.

It's a double standard on steroids!

If it's not a double standard, why is it that repukes can get away with unspeakable crimes against children, but Democrats who indulge in inappropriate but barely legal behavior suffer disproportionate punishment? Don't tell me there's no double standard based on tribalism!!!
