it’s way through Congress is a prime example of who ultimately pays. I think a case of corruption can be made against the GOP.
Nov 9, 2017 - "Republicans are literally out here warning each other that their big donors will stop writing checks if they don't ... Lindsey Graham says “the financial contributions will stop” if tax reform fails.
This really means their donors expect a very profitable ROI. The end result will therefore be basically using tax payer money to finance their elections. Much more subtle than what Putin and his oligarchs do in Russia, but essentially the same.

US corporations have a sordid history of bribing people overseas and here too.

The lobbyists are just the tip of the iceberg of corruption.
