Not the automation part, just the way it looks and sounds. And why can't the designers give it a rudimentary head? Although I don't know if that would make it less or more creepy.

If our jobs are eliminated by robots where will we have the money to buy anything?

It certainly won't help the 1% if we all die of starvation either. Only the 1% will be able to buy anything and how will that help them accumulate more and more?
