Officials at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island admitted that one of their aircraft was responsible for skydrawing a penis in the sky over Washington state on Thursday, KREM2 reported.
The news station received several photos of the skydrawings, which were also posted on social media.
A mother in Oregon complained about the images to KREM2, saying that she was upset she may have to explain to her children what the drawings mean.
The Navy holds its aircrew to the highest standards and we find this absolutely unacceptable, of zero training value and we are holding the crew accountable, the Navy said in a statement to KREM2.

For what it's worth I grew up on Whidbey Island. My father and many of my friends parents were stationed at the naval base.

(2,716 posts)We live across the water from Whidbey Island on Fidalgo Island. The EA-18 Growlers that fly out of NAS Whidbey Island are the likely skywriters. They are constantly in the air over our house and I love it. We go to Coupeville to watch the practice carrier landings on the outlying field and photograph these amazing planes close up.
