Navy acknowledges pilot drew male genitalia in the sky (Okay, this sex crap is getting ridiculous!)

U.S. Navy officials have issued a statement acknowledging that one of its aircraft was used in the drawing of male genitalia in the sky over a county in Washington state.

Officials at the Naval Air Station Whidbey Island in northwest Washington told KREM 2 that one of their aircraft was used in the skywriting.

"The Navy holds its aircrew to the highest standards and we find this absolutely unacceptable, of zero training value and we are holding the crew accountable,” the officials said in a statement.

I couldn't find it on YouTube, but this immediately reminded me of a scene in the 1971 film "The Grasshopper," one of my guilty pleasures, in which a skywriter is coerced to write "Fuck it" in the sky over Los Angeles. Check out the film if you can (it's available on video) -- it's deliciously trashy!

It's hilarious the official statement includes the argument that it was "of zero training value".

Why add that? Are they saying drawing penises would be fine if they had training value?

I talked to a co-worker today , (had to tell him why I was laughing...) about this and his experience with his son is the same. Both our boys did this sort of drawing around 9th to 10th grade. My son and his friends used to weld similar drawings on the metal in the school ag class. They think it's hilarious. Looks like these boys are young at heart, lol.
