Trump has already shown that he does not care about looking / being immature, petty, inept, bully, lacking dignity (insert next adjective here). Which demonstrates exactly what HRC said about him yesterday on the radio in NY. So for trump there is no downside to doing this. It stokes his base and drives the left crazy. It is basically a guaranteed applause line for him.
