in 2020 it's extremely unlikely that we win veto-proof majorities in both houses while simultaneously failing to retake the white house. that just doesn't happen.

we can really only gain veto-proof majorities without the white house during a mid-term election, and it can't happen in 2018, because the map makes it barely possible to even get a simple majority; 67 seats is deep into fantasy land.

2022 might be possible i suppose, but my scenario gets us there 2 years faster
