Attorney: Mueller rules, holds all the cards!

This former US attorney says Mueller holds ALL the cards. Drawing a comparison to Flynn and son he says of Butthead..erm Donnie junior:

A similar dynamic arises with Donald Trump Jr., whose stumblebum flirtations with WikiLeaks and with Russian figures he believed could provide dirt on Hillary Clinton could give rise to a series of criminal charges. True, Trump Sr. appears to be hermetically self-centered, but he is in his 70s and facing, at best, a failing presidency. What will he do if he knows that his son and namesake could go to prison, forever soiling the Trump brand?

There will be future rounds of the probe in which Mueller’s path will be less smooth. In particular, his team will one day face in the courts a battery of legal and evidentiary arguments crafted by some of the country’s most sophisticated (and expensive) defense lawyers. But for now, Mueller rules.

What if Trump simply tweets, "Mueller, you're fired!" and sends U.S. Marshalls to seal Mueller's offices?

sorry, no offense meant - more of a general observation than anything you said.

BUT, there is a sizeable core of repugs in congress who have actively called for trump to do just that.

They will cheer it. Other repubs will sit and squirm, but they will never impeach/convict him. Even if somehow the house voted to charge, you would need 19 republican senators to convict. they don't exist.

Trump will never be removed from office for firing muehler, and he knows it. He will pardon himself, family and business and sit there with smug "i got you again" look.

I'd love to be wrong, but with this congress, I have no hope.

Already, generic Democrats have about a 13 point lead over generic Republicans in House and Senate elections for 2018, which would be enough to overcome all gerrymandering, and probably vote suppression too: https://upload.democraticunderground.com/10029855251

If incumbents are also covering up crimes, they'll be massacred.

He is smart and knows he could be fired so his info is backed up in multiple ways. Also, there are over 300 American cities ready to have a protest within 1 hour of the news of Mueller's firing is made public. It is sponsored by MoveOn.org and is called "Nobody is Above the Law Rally". My sister and I signed up on Oct 30th. You can see if there is one by you and sign up.

a pre-programmed secure, encrypted data dump to Eric Schneiderman, AG of NYS. Trump has no authority to do anything to him. Plus this may also extend to other states AGs around the country. He can't really stop this, he can slow it down enough to negotiate an exit strategy.

If the Rs were smart, they would be more likely to get their agenda now with President Pence.

It's a little frustrating that we have to keep guessing what's going on behind closed doors.

But that's NOTHING compared to the chaos in the White House, trying to figure out what Mueller knows. The lawyers for Trump are going nuts trying to defend him and he keeps saying and doing such dumb things. (Like, incriminating things.)

So keep up the good work Mueller, and keep them guessing!
