Plus the Euro now costs $1.18 instead of the $1.05 rate six months ago. On the other hand, there are ways to get around cheaply with a little planning. Watch the airlines. They'll quote you a cheap fare (changing planes in Cincinnati, Detroit, Wichita and Ljubljana probably) and then hit you with hundreds in extra fees for baggage, food, water, oxygen and a seat. Make sure they tell you the WHOLE story when you book, and NEVER believe the ads.

Two weeks ago, my wife unfortunately experienced a retinal tear while we were in Frankfurt, and our planned weekend ended up with her making emergency trips to the eye clinic at the University of Frankfurt. Fortunately, one of their top laser surgeons was on duty Sunday and was able to treat her. Follow up exams say she is healing well, and today she was able to drive her car a long distance (up to her mom's place in the north, a 150 minute drive) for the first time since then. Her mom just turned 90, as you know. Unfortunately, her mom is experiencing macular degeneration in both eyes, and is almost blind, which is driving her nuts. My wife drove up there today to drive her mom to various eye clinics in the region to see what can be done to save what vision she has left. She hates the idea of assisted living, but she may have no choice before long. So, no, it has not been a smooth ride this fall. Maybe things will calm down for a while. But knowing us, probably not!

impossible to hold him in any lower regard than I do already. He seriously believes that that its OK to browbeat the victims of those he defends purely to attempt a boost his tanking ratings. Despicable.

Looks like a good lawyer!

Btw what an informal and unprofessional request (email from Hannity person).

When I read that, I asked myself how they ever get anyone to even show up for a taping. It is phrased so casually it's almost like hey if you feel like it come on over; if not whatever.

or "Lordy, I hope there are tapes."

another rallying cry.
