We have the mainstream media playing along with Trump/Fox's 24/7 what-about-ism propaganda all over again.

Remember when Hillary Clinton and Bill DeBlasio were blasted during the campaign for making a reference to colored people time (CPT) even as Donald Trump and his campaign engaged in the most racist campaign in recent memory:

Now, we have the same false equivalency being played out with respect to Senator Al Franken whose crude jokes and bum pats are being held up as equivalent to Roy Moore's pedophilia and Donald Trump's sexual assaults. Trump bragged about grabbing women by the genitals and there were numerous reports of Trump sexually propositioning and assaulting women. We are not talking about a bum pat or a joke gone too far. With Trump, we had reports of him sexually propositioning women and repeatedly groping them.

Even after the 2016 elections, the mainstream media continues to fail us by buying into the right wing's what-about-ism, which is premised on the notion that both sides are morally equivalent.
