A 65-year-old Florida woman was arrested and accused of murdering her husband and then hiding his duct-taped body behind a brick wall she built inside a closet.

Barbara Wozniak, of Shalimar, was charged with second-degree murder Friday night while she was already in the Okaloosa County jail on another charge of tampering with evidence.

Deputies made the discovery on Nov. 15 when they were called to Wozniak’s house on suspicion of a possible homicide, according to a sheriff’s news release.

Investigators obtained a search warrant and found a fake brick wall inside a closet under a stairway. After breaking through the wall, they found the body of 72-year-old Alfred Wozniak.

we had a case here a few years ago where a sister who was working in Cayman was sending home money to her sister to build her house. She visited a few times and saw very progress. She started questioning what her sister was doing with the money. On her next trip she discovered that her sister was living very well off her money and was really upset. Then she vanished. Relatives called the police here and in Cayman. Months after she was discovered dead in the outside wall of her ream home. How do you steal your own sister's money and then kill her.

If it were self defense, wouldn't she have called the cops afterward? Maybe not, but going to all the trouble of walling his body seems pretty fishy to me.
