Then again, let's not put it all on the guys.

The "Ladies" was always trashed as hell back in the day when I was responsible for taking care of it. Truly disgusting.

I'm sure that none of our DU sisters would trash a bathroom like that, but the other 47% sure did.

I never had to clean them, but I have seen a whole lot of ladies rooms that were totally gross and disgusting.

And that's not even considering the sanitary products that are tossed onto the floor.

Are they putting these things on the floor and then forgetting them, or are they just putting them on the floor without caring?

I have noticed that the problem is much less noticeable in WI and northern locations, for whatever reason.

Urine and feces on the floor instead of (DUH) in the toilet, used toilet paper on the floor in large amounts, just a godawful mess sometimes. A local Barnes & Noble bookstore restroom comes to mind. One would think that people who like to read would be a little better educated in hygiene......

Take out the trash, clean your room, feed the dog, and empty the slop jars.
Maybe empty the slop jars first.

The coldest draft in the world is the one that comes up through the outhouse seat.

She didn't have any slop jars. If you had to go in the middle of the night, you put your rubber boots on and walked on outside and got it done. People who have never done it would be amazed at how fast you can pinch one out.

I might hold the world record, though i'm not aware of it.

Also, we burned trash back then. That part was fun.

for my great aunt's rooms as they couldn't make it to the bathroom.

kamodes: a nicely done wooden box with seat and lid. jar inside.

she had the added work to a already full work day, of emptying and cleaning them.

comes from when I was in elementary school. where I thought it was stupid to have a language where words were spelled differently from how they sound, etc.

here I am at 76 still being stupidly stubborn. lol

when I worked in offices and even when I published my own monthly magazine I kept a dictionary at hand. no spell check then.

DU's new spell check doesn't work for me?? it doesn't do anything but point out the error.
