Am I the only one who longs for the good old days when an anchor was suspended for lying about coming under fire while landing in Bagdad. . Say it ain't so Charlie Rose!!!!

2. He lost his job as anchor of evening news permanently.

Now he hosts a show after most people have gone to bed after six months or so of not working. I think his punishment was a deterrent to anyone thinking about lying to enhance their reputation.

and well paid. Contrast to Dan Rather.

And Rather is a great investigative reporter.
