What Happened to the 16 Women Who Accused Trump of Sexual Misconduct

As new sexual-harassment accusations — sometimes several per day — pour out in the aftermath of the Harvey Weinstein scandal, there’s one person whose alleged sexual misconduct seems simultaneously ever-present, and yet grossly overlooked.

Some have argued that there would be no #MeToo moment if Donald Trump had not been elected, even after being accused of various forms of misconduct, from groping to rape. But in recent weeks several of Trump’s accusers have said that while they’re happy sexual harassment is being discussed more openly, they’re still dismayed that their own stories seem to have had little impact. Some have continued speaking out, hoping that away from the chaos of the election, people might be more ready to listen to their accounts. A defamation suit filed by Summer Zervos, one of the accusers, has also opened up the possibility that they’ll get their day in court.

But for now, Trump seems entirely unfazed by the allegations hanging over him. Press Secretary Sarah Sanders confirmed last month that it is the White House’s official position that every single one of the women is lying, and Trump has not shied away from condemning alleged sexual harassers (if they’re Democrats).

Here’s a reminder of what behavior the president has been accused of, including, when available, an update on how the women have continued trying to make their stories heard.

Did they somehow settle with Trump? Have they signed confidentiality agreements? I fully expected them to come forward again or for the media to interview them again in the light of this wave of accusations.

is the main control behind the influx of accusations at this point in time and not spead over less political seasons. We have multiple solid accusations against Moore and other GOP polititians, we have some strong and some weak accusations against Hollywood stars and elites, and we have a flurry of unsubstantiated accusations that originate from the rw in too timely a manner to be coincidence.

But what about Trump? Power. That's all. It makes me wonder whether the office of the presidency is now a danger to democracy at this point in history. It's too powerful, or should I say too controllable. Parliamentary system? Look to Scandinavia Maybe? Iceland?

The president, congress and oligarchs must be accountable. The paid rw media must be made accountable. Only then can we heal these issues that have dogged us for generations.

By saying they lied Trump opened himself up to discovery about every woman he ever harassed. Trump has argued such a lawsuit must be delayed until his presidency is over. Vincent Bugliosis, former prosecutor, wrote an extremely convincing article that the Supremes should have delayed the Paula Jones lawsuit. But conservative lawyers, including the husband of Kelle Anne Conyers, wrote briefs causing the Supremes to side with Paula Jones, holding the suit did not need to be delayed. So will Kelly Anne’s husband change his tune now?
