so I was wondering why they waited so long to get married. This explains it-- someone else got the flower of her puberty.

Moore is a bible-thumper. He believes in a strict literal interpretation of scripture. Jesus said that a man who marries a divorced woman is an adulterer. (Luke 16:18)

I'd be curious to hear how he talks through that one.

The question is not whether you or I believe it, the point is that Moore loudly proclaims that he does.

IF you believe, as Moore says he does, that the authority of scripture exceeds that of "man's law," even the Constitution, and IF you believe, as Moore says he does, that the scripture must be literally interpreted THEN you must believe that Moore is an adulterer and under the condemnation of God's law.
