Let's play a game! If Hillary were President:

Susan Sarandon: “I did think she was very, very dangerous. We would still be fracking, we would be at war if she was president. It wouldn’t be much smoother. Look what happened under Obama that we didn’t notice.”

Okay, I'll play:

- If Hillary were President, the Republicans would be up in arms if four US soldiers get killed in Africa due to bad intelligence.

- If Hillary were President, the Republicans would cry nepotism and call for her impeachment if she gave Chelsea a WH job.

- If Hillary were President, the Alt-Right would bash her non-stop if she had Wall Street sharks in her administration.

- If Hillary were President, investigations into russian meddling would be off-limits as partisan attacks and authoritarian abuse of power.

- If Hillary were President, we likely would by now have clocked 100 hundred symbolic votes to repeal Obamacare.

- If Hillary were President, the Republicans would still be able to brag how great their healthcare- and tax-plans are, without ever getting into the dilemma of actually writing down their plans and showing them to the public.

- If Hillary were President, the wildest, most ludicrous stories how bad Trump would have been as President would still fall short of how bad he actually is.

- If Hillary were President, the deplorables would not feel comfortable enough to go full-racist in public and we would continue to pretend that racism is over.

- If Hillary were President, we would have Trump TV.

Neil Gorsuch as an SC Justice. The most important thing she would have accomplished.

Would it have been an 8 person court as far as the eye can see?

Would it be someone to the right of Garland (because apparently he wasn't far enough right to suit the Senate GOP)?

After all, the GOP is still in control of the Senate (not to mention that you still need 60 votes to confirm a Supreme Court justice).

Is there any chance at all, even with the opportunity to change the Court for at least a decade (because a LIBERAL justice would have changed the country 180 degrees in the following 5-4 vote areas: capital punishment, the racist 1996 Violent Crime Act, voter ID, gerrymandering, worker's rights, choice, LGBTQ rights, and campaign finance), she would have demanded someone like Goodwin Liu and, when blocked, run against Senate Republicans for blocking it as opposed to appointing someone to the right of Garland because it would "get things done?"

on anything - and many would be saying it was because she never really believed in a progressive agenda.

I am NOT saying this out of disrespect for Clinton, but the reality that she would have a House controlled by Republicans and likely a Republican Senate as well. On most issues, anything that could be done by executive order was done by Obama.

We would, of course, not even be thinking of what could (and in the real world did) happen under Trump. We would still be in the Paris Accord and she would have tried to spark the states and businesses to do what they could do to augment what would still be done by the EPA.

The Republican Congress would continue to mess with ACA provisions and funding as Rubio did, but the worst things would be vetoed by President Clinton. I suspect they would be back to trying to hold things hostage to keep the government funded.

She would not have taken the steps that Trump did on the Iran deal, but stood with the rest of the world - other than Bibi and the Sunni States. I wonder if she would have appointed Jake Sullivan, possibly teamed with Bill Clinton to deal with the middle east.

I would also bet that DU would be ranting over her push to get TPP done - likely claiming some side agreements that would not be in the negotiated TPP to save face for her rejection of work that she played a big role in. ( Some here would be claiming her rejection was just to beat Bernie in the primaries. I suspect that she would be claiming the treaty as her legacy from the State Department days.)
