Trump Is Not Our Only Problem. It Is The Criminally Murderous GOP Sociopathic Congress.

Trump is NOT the least of our problem. We have a criminally insane GOP Congress ready to unleash massive economic destruction to millions of Americans. They are deaf to all protest. And the intend to commit 1st degree murder by taking away vital health care from millions of sick and vulnerable Americans.

Thing about the "sum total" of all their policy initiatives. They want to take away health care from the disabled, disable veterans, sick seniors, children, families in distress, etc etc etc. Many will suffer and many will die from untreated diseases.

I do not understand why the populace is not just storming Congress and shutting them down. This tax cut is the most dreadful legislation in years and will cripple the country in the end.

Republicans in Congress are corrupt. They are either working for their donors or Russia. I believed from the beginning that Russia hacked their emails, too, but gained their cooperation instead of releasing them.

Whether they are working for Russia or their billionaire donors, they are protecting themselves and each other. I don't understand what happened to them to make them willing to become traitors to their country. Don't they have kids and grandkids? I hope they all get indicted!

People need to understand that Trump doesn't understand any of the particulars of what Ryan and McConnell are doing behind the scenes, you hardly hear them anymore, they are hard at work coming up with destructive ideas, same with Pence...and you have to admit, Trump is doing a good job, he has kidnapped the whole country, the whole World, and has everyone running around on one spot like dogs unable to make a decision on where to lay down...nobody seems to be able to take hard action to remove these swamp from the White House...everyone seems to be waiting on Muller, but something needs to be done ASAP before things get really bad.

If a nuclear war took place against NK, maybe NK will be pulverized, maybe, but so will a few USA cities and obviously South Korea will suffer and could also be pulverized by NK, because that will be their first target.

Trump and his minions are a real danger to the World.

Acting crazy. He's deflecting. And we know how the Republicans just want this tax bill to get signed into law.

So after that happens, if it happens, he could "go off the deep end" before they boot his ass. What does he care? He'll have gotten the tax breaks he wants and the largess he enjoys from the money he's been raking in with the long rake of his presidency.

This marriage between Trump and the R Congress is lethal. They'd throw each other under the bus as the American people drown under the weight of their collective greed.

I join you when you wonder why the populace isn't storming Congress. Maybe hubris marries them to their choice to support the Republicans. After all, look how the polls still show a good number supporting Roy Moore. Imo, they'd sacrifice their daughters before the altar of the 1% and then find a way to blame the Democrats.

They clearly put party before country. And they are incredibly inept, to boot.

But their “ideals” are deadly to most people. Not that they give a hoot.

Yes, the evidence is strong that Putin and his Russian buddies helped significantly. There was a time not that long ago that going along with the Russians would be unthinkable for the GOP. Those days are obviously long gone.

Trump as president has been a daily horror to wake up to. But in reality, he's just a symptom of the real problem. Unfortunately, in the best case, that will not sink in until some months have passed following his departure.

The people who move up the ranks rise on the basis of their willingness and demonstrated ability to sacrifice the needs of their constituents at the altar of plutocrats. Committing atrocities serves as a demonstration of loyalty- reminiscent of the murder of random strangers reputedly required for initiation into the most violent and ruthless gangs. The Republican Party is a hate-mongering, fear-mongering kleptocracy. Their politicians are junior members of a criminal enterprise who are tasked with driving the getaway car. They are easily replaceable (primary!) and rewarded accordingly with only minor shares of the proceeds.

birthed it.

the great thing about going after RW talk radio is that it's been getting a free speech free ride.

it would be a total surprise to, for instance, stop ignoring it......

without talk radio they have shit.

here are a few things people can do:

to start, dems and media and political scientists need to be encouraged to poll trump support for talk radio. too much analysis ignores the fact that this is actually the talk radio president and most of putin’s trolling piggybacked it. i’ll bet it shows the closest association outside of ‘white’, and that will help establish it as a major factor.

monitor it —  should be easier now to automate recording and transcribing the main rw talkers so people can search and study the patterns and repetition. if all of a sudden there’s a spike in, say the word ‘iran’ or ‘mueller’ or ‘deep state’, etc, it probably means something. knowing about it before  it becomes reality means not always having to play catch up.

credit it —  trump needs a RUSH tattoo on his forehead, as do all republican pols and media hacks. they all ride the talk radio bandwagon and feed from the daily smorgasbord of talking points and excuses. dems in media could accurately preface answers to republican media hacks and politicians with “that’s what limbaugh says but...”

investigate it —  how long has putin been using it? did they find a way to feed limbaugh and coordinate with him and others? are any of them being paid  freelance money? exposing the talk radio gods as tools, especially russian tools, would help. Trump guy Sam Nunberg analyzed 1000s of hrs of RW radio & reported to Trump in 2014. to coordinate with Russian ops?

‘thank’ all local businesses that advertise on RW radio stations —  thank them for trump, trumpcare, global warming, privatization of public education, voter suppression, deregulation, tax breaks for billionaires, etc. it’s easy and fun to listen to a few minutes here and there and get a few  email addresses for thank-you notes that can get to the boss/owners.

protest it —   include the radio stations in any progressive protests —  they may  be better places to protest than capitols —  politicians and media will notice.

and to combine a few of those, push the 88 universities that endorse 257 limbaugh stations to stop crapping on their mission statements and start  looking for apolitical alternatives to broadcast sports on —  maybe their political science faculties and students can start studying the most dominant political factor in the US the last 30 years. people need to wonder why the unis should drop rw radio. it will start a discussion, gop will freak out, media will notice, and advertisers will flee.
