The latest having Murkowski voting for the tax plan and Collins still a question mark shows that there really are no moderates in the Republican Party. This tax hand out is a disgrace to the majority of Americans and it is looking more and more like the votes will be bought off for fence sitters. And Flake and Corker are just frauds enjoying their last glimpses of feeling like they matter.

Tell her how shameful it is for her to vote for a bill that will remove 250B from Medicare.
Did Trump tell her he'd primary her if she didn't fall into line? Tell her he is the least of her worries in a primary if she makes the country suffer this travesty.

(24,461 posts)The fact that he was a serial sexual assaulting, racist, businessdick CEO Fascist meant nothing to them.
It was ALWAYS about the handlers and their tax cuts.
And you KNOW these fuckers aren't going to lift a FINGER towards his ouster even after they get it.
They're a selfish, insufferable rogue species that need to be deposed before they destroy us.

(56,828 posts)but, she was just a bit to the left of the crazy RWer that she ran against last election (forgot his name?), so that makes her a moderate in the eyes of the media. Flake and Corker are similar - because they have occasionally criticized Trump, they are dubbed moderates by the media when their voting records say otherwise.

Come to think of it, shouldn't ALL Republicans be afraid of voting for this travesty? It's on their heads when the shit hits the fan.

(22,336 posts)Even supposedly moderate Republicans lined up and voted with the party on that. I think that's when the word went out that Republicans vote with the party no matter what or else, and that's when moderate Republicans either assimilated or weren't supported enough by the party to win elections.
