To date, there is no evidence that Franken had a reputation as a serial groper during his time at SNL nor on USO tours - with SNL, quite the contrary. In the current climate, if there evidence of such a reputation, I'd guess we'd have heard of it as "corroboration" of the pattern you seem so eager to see.
It's interesting that your mind went immediately to such an extreme comparison.

(4,602 posts)Facts:
1) All of these allegations appear to rely on photo ops.
2) In none of the photo ops is any groping contact evident.
What is the probability that Franken would grope someone at a photo op and each time the photographer did not capture it?

(82,849 posts)See, he has the uncanny ability to tell the split second a camera is about to go off, and he repositions his hands just before the image is captured. He's a warlock or something, I tells ya!
Let's see how long it takes this fantastical nonsense to be quoted seriously. My money is on Fox repeating it.

(5,591 posts)Not only is there a driving need to discredit Franken because he is such an effective warrior against Republicans, he is a part of SNL history. An SNL that the Cretin hates in the same vein as his all-things-Obama hatred.
The Cretin doesnt ever overlook a mocking and is willing to destroy the country in his quest for petty vengeance. So are his supporters.
Republicans hate the shredding of their lying assed administration in Congressional hearings and see a typical holier than thou, pile on opportunity.
I believe Franken.
I do not believe his named accusers.
I believe this is politically driven smear.
That has nothing to do with my passionate desire to see brave women finally confront power driven sexual predators and hideously entitled men and have them punished.

But something smells for sure. I admit to being totally partisan. I'm willing to ditch Franken if he becomes a political liability but certainly not before the ethics committee rules. Let these people testify under oath and fair questioning.

If this isn't a plot to get him out of the Senate by curiously timed accusations to keep the story going, it's to destroy his reputation and or effectiveness .
