One of my bedrock serious concerns is one I almost don't want to state "out loud":

What do we do if Mueller announces that he finds sufficient credible evidence to support charges of obstruction of justice, perjury, lying to Congress, money laundering and---ding ding ding!---espionage against Trump and his kids and others and then Trump "pardons" everyone, including himself, and the GOP refuses to impeach?

Can anyone imagine a response that won't result in bloodshed?

The only limit to his pardon powers is impeachment.

I'm not very hopeful Justice will prevail under the current congress.

1. He can't pardon himself.
2. He can't pardon others for state-level crimes, which seem to be numerous.
3. It doesn't matter, because Trump could sodomize Christ on the Cross, and the GOP congress would still take no action against him.

things he "can't" do. He "can't" name an acting director of Consumer Protection where there is no actual vacancy either, but he just did and one of Trump's just-appointed judges declined to overrule him. A psychiatrist on one of the evening political programs just yesterday said Trump is having episodes of psychosis and is capable of totally irrational acts. He mentioned "firing the Supreme Court" and ordering an unnecessary nuclear strike as "possible".

I agree with your #3. That's a big part of our problem and I'm not sure we'll make to the midterms.

the pardoning part won't be possible. It appears that a case for RICO charges are likely which wil make it legally impossible for any pardons to be made by the cheato. Each indictment will show him connected to each defendant which will make him legally involved in the cases of each individual making him unable to take action in pardoning any of them. And, I think, RICO case would allow for anyone considered to be involved liable such that all assets could be forfeited or something like that. It's what makes me even the least bit hopeful... that's all I have to keep me hanging on at this point.

I don't know what RICO has to do with it.

The idea he can't pardon co conspirators doesn't make sense.

If there are no impeachment proceedings he can do what he wants.

Bush I pardoned everybody who could have turned on him and placed him "in the loop"

Mueller will indict, bring to trial, various of those involved, but one by one. It will drag out for the next three years, at the end of which we'll learn that Trump is an "unindicted co-conspirator". That should sound familiar.

I have almost no faith that anything will actually come of any of this. I feel like we've been through it before.

His following is cult like. While I think most will deal with it in other ways, there is the prospect of some armed resistance. At least on a small scale. Maybe I'm underselling it.
