"It's very sad and the brave women who came forward are owed justice. I will pray for Congressman Conyers and his family, and wish them well. However
Congressman Conyers should resign."
The California Democrat added, "No matter how great a legacy there's no license to harass or discriminate. In fact it makes it even more disappointing."
Conyers, 88, is the longest currently serving member of the US House of Representatives.

I need to hear Nancy say - Impeachment is on the table - before I'm willing to give up one Democratic seat.

(31,810 posts)I just want it known - I sent her flowers after the ACA passed. I adore her, think she's smart, and tough and a true patriot -
But no impeachment off the table Nancy. Not this time around. And I DO think we are taking the House. I believe it.
This is a time where Republicans are digging in their heels and supporting a madman and a child molester -
Conyers said he won't run again - and I don't believe any of Franken's accusers. We need to stop these 'calls'.

(9,527 posts)Barton from the evidence we have was engaging in consenting behavior. Conyers settled sexual harassment claims. That consent thing matters. But all you have is sad little name calling because you don't have a valid argument.
