I just bought a pint of Ben and Jerry's "Everything But The". Might have to do something else, though, because this is truly a day to celebrate.

3. Dinner at the facy pizza place with friends. They have great wines.

4. I am just....screaming. And my iPad has smoke wafting out of it, what with trying to keep

up with LATEST BREAKING NEWS. But now I gotta go clean the kitchen.

But THEN, I have a couple half gallons of Blue Bell non-listeria Dutch fudge ice cream waiting for me, and I will eat every bit of it if I have a mind to, 'cause this is so far the greatest fuckin day of my life, and I just turned SIXTY SEVEN, 72, so that's sayin something, eh?!?

O halujueuia!! My spellcheck sucks but I don't care!!

6. That's what I told myself about my ice cream

I'll eat every bit of it even if it's a million calories!

And it sounds better than ever.

7. I felt so good I went out into the yard and pruned back about a dozen roses

And then drove over to a farm market for some Soil Pep compost to dig in around them tomorrow.

I haven't felt like doing stuff like this for some time and it was great to get out on a beautiful day and go to town gardening.

10. Finally opened one of my little bottles of election night bubbly.

I decided that I need to invest in a proper bottle to have on hand in the event of DOTUS leaving office.
