Our Dem governor will appoint a Dem replacement, possibly Keith Ellison. But it's absurd, and I hate it when Democrats stab other Democrats in the back.

They are just trying to take pot shots at a progressive Democrat.

Does anyone have transcripts for those four Senators to see what kind of fight they put up in the Senate?

Where are the dem voices demanding that Trump step down? This is a GOP plot to unseat one of our bulldog senators & we have party members helping them. And we're the smart party? Not sure I believe that anymore.

Gov. Mark Dayton (D) would appoint his replacement. He could choose Rep. Keith Ellison as his replacement, whose name has been mentioned.

I'm not saying that I agree with this statement, but it is difficult to see how Sen. Franken survives this.

I’m not condoning anything Al Franken has done allegedly. However, there’s a difference between groping and the shit with Moore and Trump are accused of doing. I’m trying to figure out the end game these senators are trying to do? Have a blanket policy that if a person feels that made them uncomfortable, then you need to resign? This deal that the Democratic party feels that they should always take the high road on EVERYTHING is why the Repubs are running the country into the ground! Sometimes you have to fight bully and not turn the other cheek.

I don't see how this resignation call makes any sense. Not all sexual harassment claims are equal. Al Franken does not = Roy Moore or the Trumpster, for that matter. What Franken did (groping/acting like a frat boy) the man owned up to and apologized without excuses. Women currently working for Franken--his aides and others--have said they've received nothing but respect and support from the Senator.

So what am I missing, other than a pointless purge?

Going along with the wave of McCarthyism and committing suicide just like the lying trolls wanted. Shit like this is why so many hate on the "spineless liberal" - Stand up and call this fake shit what it is - FAKE.

We get what we fucking deserve if they railroad him out. He is one of the few who actually has the guts to speak out.

What utter garbage.
