The old-timers here in Arkansas say that back in the Faubus years, you couldn't find anyone who would admit to having voted for the guy and yet he won handily election after election.
I suspect that an Alabama voter called by a pollster would not admit to planning to vote for Moore but when s/he gets into the privacy of the voting booth will do so. Wednesday morning, you won't be able to find anyone to admit they voted for Moore and yet he will have been elected by a wide margin.
Yeah, I know. I'm a skeptic.

(24 posts)At the very least this race has gotten very interesting -- which no one would of thought of just a few months ago. Personally, I really do think the enthusiasm gap in this race is very real, and I do think Jones will pull off the upset. Not much confidence in that prediction, but it will be close either way.

I still think Moore wins. Though that may ultimately work to our advantage

(31,261 posts)Navel gazing ticks me off. Voting is putting a board right up side the head of republicans, that is why they work so hard to suppress.
