Hillary Clinton: Roy Moore's 'bigotry and hatred speaks volumes' about country
In a speech Saturday to the country's largest gay advocacy group, Hillary Clinton blistered Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore for his critical positions on gays.
Clinton never called Moore by name, identifying him only as the "Republican Senate candidate in Alabama."
Clinton made her comments during an address at the Human Rights Campaign National Dinner.
Twice removed from the Alabama Supreme Court, the second occasion occurred last year when Moore ordered state probate judges to deny marriage licenses to same-sex couples in defiance of a U.S. Supreme Court ruling.
