Kelly: A sellout crowd awaits first lady in Omaha

Source: Omaha World Herald

By Michael Kelly

First lady Michelle Obama's appearance next Tuesday at the Girls Inc. luncheon in Omaha is officially a sellout: 2,507 people.

Tickets were $100 for the event at the CenturyLink Center. Vic Gutman, a spokesman for Girls Inc., said the crowd could have been larger.

"The White House advance team rearranged our site plan, which cut 20 tables," Gutman said. "We've had to turn people away. And we have more media than ever."

Of the big-name speakers for Girls Inc. luncheons, the only larger crowd, about 2,800, was for former President Bill Clinton. But that was on a Saturday, Gutman said, and the room was configured differently.

FULL story at link.

As far as FLs go, Michelle Obama is hands down the classiest.

With all the lies, racism and bs the RW throws at her, she just stands back, smiles and stays classy.

GOP to Republitards: "Get thee thy wives under control!"

No wonder they freak whenever the FLOTUS makes a public appearance - all she has to do is show up and the area goes purple or blue.

One for the winner of each Congressional District and two for the statewide winner. In 2008 Obama won the district that is largely Omaha. The last two Mayors of Omaha have been Democrats. This may not hold in 2012 because Omaha is now too big for a single Congressman so the Nebraska legislature dumped some older, Democratic suburbs into the Lincoln district while keeping newer Republican suburbs to try and keep it a "safe" Republican district.

She is so smart and knows everything about current topics.

Oh, and not to mention she is the most beautiful First Lady since Jackie Kennedy. The US is so lucky to have her.

I have no doubt President Obama might have to say he was happy to be escorted in Europe by Mrs. Obama the same way Kennedy made that funny comment about Mrs. Kennedy.

We have such a great First Couple!
