Pataki Blasts Indiana’s Religious Freedom Law

As he considers a potential bid for president this year, former Gov. George Pataki on Thursday in a statement blasted Indianas controversial religious freedom law, which he called discriminatory.

The comment comes as Patakis super PAC, We The People Not Washington, opens office space in downtown Manchester, New Hampshire while the Republican former three-term governor weighs his first campaign since 2002.
In his statement, Pataki indicated the law that has drawn a firestorm of controversy for Republican Gov. Mike Pence, another potential 2016 candidate, is a matter of civil rights.
