Bill Cosby Sex Allegations: 3 more victims speak out
Source: KABC
LOS ANGELES (KABC) --
Three more women have spoken out claiming Bill Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted them when they were in their 20s.(snip)
The statute of limitations has run out for any of the women to pursue legal action against Cosby, but attorney Gloria Allred said they have decided to speak out as a way to hold him accountable in the court of public opinion.
"The women who are with me today are not the last ones who will come forward. I can assure him that there will be more because women are no longer going to be intimidated by Cosby's celebrity, his money or his power," she said.

It is very possible Cosby did sexually assault some women.
But ALL of his accusers? I have my doubts.

(46,301 posts)It is possible, that Cosby did sexually assault some women.
But all of them?
Just look at the Duke University accuser.
The woman who falsely put a college football star in jail for a rape that never occurred.
Fake accusations are very rare.
But they DO happen.

(3,909 posts)Even if (big if) one or more of his accusers is lying, what exactly is your point? That we should disregard such accusations? That we should assume that all accusations are false without an overwhelming preponderance of evidence? That he is innocent?
Your analogy to Duke is a red herring.

(29,206 posts)Flawless sexist logic.
Reminds me of a couple of guys on an airplane I listened to as they smugly assumed that Anita Hill was lying about C.Thomas' grossly inappropriate behavior. Well guess what, she wasn't.
Reactions like yours are why more women don't step forward sooner when they're molested, frankly. Just no basis except the fact that some microscopically small number of women have assert they've been raped have lied. Who's on trial here?
Trajano
(53 posts)The fact that one was raped wouldn't justify 30 lies, for instance.

(68,868 posts)If not, it's "very possible" that he is a rapist. He is in fact a rapist at that point.

That man will probably get major prison time just for that one incident. And Cosby got away with it many times over and no one can touch him.

Your self-righteousness is your own problem, and that must really suck for you.
