3 Seattle officers injured in May Day melee, 15 protesters arrested

Seattle police say 15 people have been arrested in violent May Day protests.
Protesters have been seen throwing bricks, overturning dumpsters, and wielding a variety of weapons. At least 25 vehicles have been damaged, according to SPD.
Three officers were injured as the crowd of protesters made their way from Capitol Hill to downtown and back to the Seattle Central Community College.
Two of the officers were transported to Haborview Medical Center with serious injuries, according to the police department.

Meanwhile, Seattle's Socialist Alternative councilmember Kshama Sawant had her disorderly conduct charges dropped today; those charges stemmed from her participation in a Nov. 19, 2014 minimum wage protest at SeaTac airport.
