Guatemalan VP Resigns Over Corruption Allegations

The announcement comes after thousands of Guatemalans demanded her resignation over fraud.
Guatemalan Vice President Roxana Baldetti handed her resignation to the Congress on Friday, announced President Otto Perez Melina during a press conference.
It follows the Vice President’s alleged involvement in a major corruption scandal.
By resigning as a vice-president, she also resigned her immunity, added Perez Molina.
