Vaccination protesters at (Calif.) Democratic convention compare California to Nazi Germany

Spurred by the state Senate's passage this week of a controversial bill that would require vaccinations for more California schoolchildren, dozens of protesters showed up outside the state Democratic Party's convention Saturday to assail the party's leaders in Sacramento.

Toting signs suggesting that Gov. Jerry Brown was destined for hell and depicting a totalitarian state in which Americans are forcibly vaccinated, the demonstrators said they still hope the legislation, SB 277, will not become law.

... "This is the greatest civil-rights issue," said Salinas resident Ana Salaiz, 61, who said both her children suffered from developmental disabilities caused by vaccines. "We've become Nazi Germany."

Her husband, Pete Salaiz, 72, carried a poster depicting cars being stopped by syringe-wielding government officials in dark uniforms.

The bill simply states (when translated into plain English) "You're still free to be irresponsible with your own kids, and put them in danger by not vaccinating them; but you just won't be allowed to put them in a public school to endanger all the other kids."

i Don't think they know mutch of about Nazi-Germany - if anything Nazi-Germany was very busy working on medical needs for children - in order to make children could be as strong and german as human possible - and was using great resources to combat childhood diseases who in many cases could kill - and if they had access to vaccinations in the form we have today - it would had been used on a level even todays world have yet to encountered it - without any protest if some of the vaccines was bad... All for making children as strong and heal ty as human posible... Of course to make better soldiers in the end - but anyway - a healthy childhood makes for a better life...

Fact dosen't matter for this type of pepole - even if you sit down, and write and paint for them - they belive they are in the right - and you are brainwashed - and is a person who want to hurt other kids.. Becouse you trust vaccines is for the best for your children... And becouse most of what come out of the anti-vaccine truthers is not good sience - rather it is bad sience .. NO evidence about the fact wil be accepted - it is really just waste of time and ressourses to explain for them what could happend with their children - they have gotten into this "natural imunity" mumble - and the only way to make them reqonize the danger, are if their child/ren got really sick - ended up in a hospital - allmoust dead - and then thanks to modern medicines is surviving - but even then - it is often not willingely they want to admit they was wrong...

And I think that is scary - as modern vaccines for the most part is not hurtfull at all... Modern medicines do have its benefits over a time when childhood ilness could kill children by the thousands... But some want to turn back the clock - to pre 1900 - when this was a natural way of living - rather than the opposite...
