wing news outlet would be plastering it in the headlines and screaming that the sky is falling.

My money is still on the contents being beef stew. But it will take 6 months for embarrassing details like that to be uncovered through a leak or a FOIA request.

13. Given that the person was arrested for driving too many times without a license,

I'm pretty sure a crockpot full of beef stew is probably what they found this time, too.

tried in the first place. I imagine terrorists would love to kill Americans on Memorial Day. They probably consider it a symbolic victory as well as a military one.

Owner of pressure cooker in Washington bomb scare apologizes

Virginia man who triggered a bomb scare on Sunday near the U.S. Capitol apologized and explained the suspicious device was a pressure cooker used for his food truck business, local news reported on Monday.

Authorities on Sunday blew up the pressure cooker found in a suspicious, unattended vehicle parked near the Capitol minutes before the National Memorial Day Concert, where thousands of people were in attendance.

<snip>

A subsequent investigation found nothing hazardous, but the vehicle's owner, Israel Shimeles of the Washington suburb of Alexandria, Virginia, was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle after his license had been revoked.
