Police: Man urinated on passengers aboard JetBlue flight

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- An Oregon man is facing charges after authorities say he urinated on passengers on a flight from Anchorage to Portland, Oregon.

KOIN-TV reports ( http://bit.ly/1ijPHEQ ) 27-year-old Jeff Rubin was arrested early Friday after JetBlue Flight 47 arrived at Portland International Airport.

A police report says passengers and airline employees told officers Rubin had been sleeping for most of the flight. About 30 minutes before landing, he stood up and began urinating through the crack between the seats in front of him - onto the passengers sitting there.

The report says he lost his balance and fell backward, spraying urine on passengers, seats and luggage.

I wonder if he drinks. I remember an incident when I was touring, one of the crew woke up in the middle of the night and urinated on the curtains of his hotel room. Heavy drinker.

I called the desk at a hotel a few years ago, when I heard something weird out in the hall. They sent up a staffer (so I'm watching most of this though the view hole) and he was talking with a guy, standing in the hall in his boxers. I opened the door and asked if he needed help, he said no but to stand by.

So the guy was locked out of his room and was super confused...when they figured out his room and let him in, they were able to steer him back to bed...there was an Ambien prescription on the sink counter (I saw it).

All sorts of things can happen!

After retiring, he awoke and joined us in the living room. Imagine our surprise when he walked directly to a corner of the living room and unzipped to urinate. I was able to quickly intercede and guide him to the restroom. He didn't even remember the incident in the morning.

I wonder why the authorities didn't take sleep walking in to account. Seems like a no brainer to me and I would have been upset to see him be arrested for it if I were one of the 'victims' .

It would be interesting to know.

I have posted a lot of articles this week. At no time did I imagine I have a urination fixation. I do believe I would be horrified if someone EVER opted to pee on me, however. I don't see any acceptable excuse, not ever.

Please let me know about my other urination article. Thanks.

Donald Trump used as reason for 2 brothers beating, peeing on homeless Mexican: Cops

BOSTON -- The Mexican government has confirmed that a homeless Boston man police was beaten by two brothers, one of whom said he was inspired by Donald Trump's views on immigrants, was a citizen of Mexico.

The brothers urinated on the 58-year-old man, punched him and beat him with a metal pole while he slept near a train station, and one of them said afterwards that Trump was right about deporting "all these illegals," police said.

Daniel Hernandez Joseph, the consul general of Mexico in Boston, condemned the attack, saying his government would "take the necessary measures to defend the rights and interests of Mexicans," The Boston Globe reported.

The brothers, Scott Leader and Steve Leader, were being held without bail on charges including assault and indecent exposure. They pleaded not guilty.

and then stopped. One time I found myself fumbling at the front door trying to open it. Fortunately we had keyed locks on the inside because of the glass panels adjacent to the main door. I guess I went back up to bed, but in the morning recalled what I had done.

I feel bad for the passengers, but I feel worse for the poor guy if he has to live with the possibility of sleepwalking all the time. I hope it was Ambien-induced.

...with the high quality of the mugshots taken at the Multnomah County Detention Center.

I print mugshots from Idaho jails in every Monday's newspaper and they are atrocious. That's a pretty good picture of this guy. If the booking officer ever gets sick of dealing with jail intake, he or she has a future as a portraitist.

Speaking of Mr. Rubin...since he got arrested in a blue state they may actually find out why he decided to use the passengers in front of him as a urinal before they lock him away for life.
