Once they make a mistake - they'd rather hold the bad faith line and make a dozen more

than admit they are wrong.

Same with the corporate mentality these days...never, ever, no matter how bad a decisions, admit to it being wrong.

What the f*ck?? Where did that mentality come from?

Insanity has.

This says, "If you scream loud and wail over some injustice that's not just all that great, we'll reward you."

And we positively reward exaggerating grievances.

At the same time, given human proclivities to not back down when challenged, we set up a nice dynamic of "do what we say, chumps, or we'll crush you." It's the ultimate "we hate dialog" move ... not by them, but those opposing them. Instead of finding a decent solution, the situation's escalated.

Lose-lose for society. Great for one, horrible for 100 million. Privatize gain, socialize loss.

during the interview. I didn't catch her name, but she's an astrophysicist at MIT. You should have
seen Ahmed's eyes light up!

I watched the whole interview. This kid is geek, pure geek. Shy, reserved, well spoken, but not
given to lengthy answers. No um's, uh's, searching for words. Brief, concise answers to
Chris' questions.

This may be one of those situations where more good will come out of it than could ever have
been anticipated.

Twenty or thirty years from now NASA announces the successful landing of its mobile probe on Titan. Mention is made that the success is due in great part to the complex, cutting edge electronic system designed by Dr Ahmed Mohamed.

At MacArthur HS, Irving TX the principal sighs, "We could have claimed him as a honor graduate." Karma whispers back, "Bite it, idiots."

How wonderful for him!

The president and now MIT.

I'm so glad he's going to get a chance to follow his dreams. Nobody can stand in his way now, not with so many people standing with him.

Just as good we're showing a whole lot of young people that at many of us stand with them as well.
