(4,423 posts)If we are not energized against them it could very well be a trump victory scary to think about it but many of the rethugs at my job say it will serve you Democrats right when Trump takes his pen and phone and usurps the constitution to enforce or not enforce laws he likes or does not like regardless of what congress wants and oh yeah that precedent was set by your blind worship of the man in the white house now.... I hear crap like that everyday the real bothersome part is that if he does win it is going to be a rough 4 years ahead.

(22,974 posts)The plutocracy owns the media and it spews right-wing propaganda 24/7. Citizens United has made it much worse. The plutocracy can now run unlimited de facto campaign ads. Propaganda works and that is why crazed, radical republicans control two-thirds of our government.

(9,141 posts)from Nicholas Kristoffs article in NYT "
This in a country where half of all pregnancies are unintended, where 30 percent of American teenage girls become pregnant by age 19.
The Guttmacher Institute, which studies reproductive health, calculates that Title X family planning centers (PP) prevent about one million unintended pregnancies a year, of which 345,000 would have ended in abortion. It says that every year Title X clinics (PP) avert some 53,000 cases of chlamydia and 8,800 cases of gonorrhea, and save the lives of 1,100 women who would otherwise die of cervical cancer.
In other words, Title X prevents an abortion about once every 90 seconds...."
This should be shoved in the faces of all those ignorant or misinformed senators who voted to defund Planned Parenthood as they have no idea how much good this organization provides. Eat this Cruz...you're a liar.

(3,373 posts)video shows a "fully formed fetus on the table, with its heart beating, its legs kicking."
...
Fiorina was referring to a video released by the anti-abortion group The Center for Medical Progress last month, in which a former worker for StemExpress, a biomedical research company, said she saw a fully formed fetus's heart beating.
"This is the most gestated fetus and closest thing to a baby I've ever seen," Holly O'Donnell, a former procurement technician for StemExpress, said in the video. "I'm sitting here looking at this fetus and its heart is beating and I don't know what to do."
The clip does show what appears to be a fully formed fetus on an operating table with its legs twitching. But the clip Fiorina references is not part of the CMP sting video but was instead taken by another anti-abortion group and was added to the sting video. The Center for Medical Progress, however, doesn't explain where the fetus video was shot, so it's not clear whether it was taken at a Planned Parenthood clinic. For its part, the women's health organization has flatly denied the accusations.

(4,695 posts)sad. The mother makes the decision to have the fetus cared for in several different legal ways. One way is for the fetus to be buried in a cemetery.
How hateful for a matter like this to be brought up and used in a lie.

How come none of the republican clown show bring up the Gaddafi days? The man died with a solid gold , diamond encrusted gun in his position and owned land in New York City.

(469 posts)... says that the fact checking proved the entire debate to be 4% true, and that Jake Tapper was happy with his performance in keeping things relatively fact-free. It still, however, did not equal the 3% truth-content in the FIRST Republican debate, last month!

(1,884 posts)Naaa... It is just that they make up their own reality as they go along. They act as if two consecutive, diametrically opposed view points can both be true and reflect actual facts. Never mind the average 3rd grader knows something is wrong with that. They think everyone else should just acceptt what they say at face value.
Lying? For them, that is what Democrats do when the Dems disagree and prove them wrong with real facts.

(3,426 posts)Folks I know you all know I have been a dirty lying POS of worst possible kind. I have been branded and out casted . I had to live with myself and those lies having been shut out of public life, left alone with the guilt and the humiliation of having been outed.
And I am a better journalist today for it. I'm a changed man today folks and I'm here to tell you I am a truth seeker .
And my mission in life is to search out and expose public figures that are liars wherever they may be.
I am here today to tell you there was not a single truth teller in those debates ,the truth is they are all liars.
Trust me folks, I have changed !
