NH lawmaker says 'Sieg Heil,' removed from chamber
The Associated Press

CONCORD, N.H. -- A New Hampshire lawmaker has apologized for shouting the Nazi salute "Sieg Heil!" during debate on a voter identification bill.

Speaker William O'Brien ordered Manchester Republican Steve Vaillancourt removed from the House chambers Tuesday.

Vaillancourt made the comment after O'Brien stopped debate on the bill.

A debate then ensued over whether Vaillancourt should be allowed back. Several lawmakers called his remarks inflammatory.

10. Common tactic of Republicans: Pre-emptive fascist branding

If you're a fascist (and you know it), it's generally a good idea to call your opponent a fascist first.

It may simply be a case of projection, but it usually inoculates you against being called the very thing you are.

in the article to make a valid opinion.

Was he in favor of shutting down debate in order to protect
the bill or was he opposed to the bill that was proposed....who knows.

But Reich wingers all mumble this affirmation to the master race
under their breath and behind closed doors.

9. If he's against the voter/ID bill and he being from New Hampshire ...........

its likely as a Republican he would be against it, he might be correct. The voter/ID law is a sort of internal passport kind of thing, "papers, please!' is the sort of thing one will hear often in fascist/police/military/class-ist oligarchies. I wish the news article would have had some context attached.

From what I have read, Steve Vaillancourt wanted to continue to debate the proposed law, including the ability to cite from the New Hampshire State House report on the effect of the law. The Speaker said he could NOT cite that report, all debates was to referred to another report, which did NOT address the issues Steve Vaillancourt wanted to bring up. Thus the move to shut Steve Vaillancourt up, Steve Vaillancourt response, and then the removal of Steve Vaillancourt from the State house.

He appears to be a Libertarian that registered as a Republican so he could run for office, thus his opposition to voter ID.
