Raul Castro meets with Bill Clinton in New York
United Nations, Sep 27 (Prensa Latina) Cuban President Raul Castro, held today a meeting with former U.S. president Bill Clinton as part of his intense agenda in New York where he participates in high-level meetings at the United Nations.
The leader of the Caribbean island and the ex Democrat head of State, who occupied the White House from 1993 and 2001, talked in a New York hotel on several issues. Including the aid to Haiti.
Raul Castro also met this Friday with the mayor of the Big Apple, Bill de Blasio and the Prime Minister of Sweden, Kiell Stefan Lofven, meetings that took place at the venue of the Permanent Cuban Mission to the UN.
Since his arrival to New York last Thursday, the President of the Largest of the Antilles has fulfilled a wide program of activities in the context of the summit of the sustainable development objectives from 2015-2030.
