Corbyn Hit By Third Post-Reshuffle Resignation (UK Labour reshuffle kerfuffle)

Three shadow cabinet ministers have resigned in the wake of Jeremy Corbyn's reshuffle, sparking speculation more could follow.

Shadow rail minister Jonathan Reynolds quit on Wednesday morning after a 36-hour reshuffle, which saw shadow Europe secretary Pat McFadden and shadow culture secretary Michael Dugher sacked for "disloyalty".

Barely hours later he was followed by the shadow foreign affairs minister Stephen Doughty, who had earlier expressed his anger over the way Mr McFadden had been treated in a tweet.

And then by the shadow armed forces minister Kevan Jones, who said he disagreed with Mr Corbyn on scrapping the Trident nuclear deterrent.

I don't think a reshuffle was necessary and unsurprisingly has turned into a bit of a dogs breakfast.

Corbyn would be better off making an example of his most outspoken critic Simon Danczuk, a high profile backbench MP who is currently mired in all sorts of scandal.

He was suspended by the party when the first allegation was made: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-35204398 , and it's up to the NEC after that. And the police now, of course, for the rape allegation.
