Ted Cruzs college roommate recalls his creepy habits

Apparently some people feel so strongly about Ted Cruz that they are emailing his one-time college roommate faulting him for not killing Cruz when he could.
Screenwriter Craig Mazin and the future Republican presidential candidate were paired together as freshmen at Princeton in 1988. And Mazin has never forgotten it.
Nor does he make any secret of loathing Cruz. He delights in tweeting embarrassing details about his roommies hygiene, his problems with women and his general creepiness.
Mazin, who penned the scripts for The Hangover Part 2 and its sequel, told The Daily Beast: I would rather have anybody else be the president of the United States. Anyone. I would rather pick somebody from the phone book.

(6,409 posts)A couple of my college roommates would tell you I left the toilet seat up once in a while, and expected too much sex. Or too little depending on which one you talked to.

Cruz strikes me as someone who's very much into BDSM, on the receiving end of course. Sad.

(58,785 posts)Cruz was willing to bring down the global economy in his reach for power. The plots and profits of plutocrats require foreseeability and stability. Cruz, like Trump but perhaps even worse, is a giant loose flywheel threatening to come lose and smash everything.
Yes, Cruz is wooing them now as he reaches for power again, but they have no dependence that they can control him. They'll fund him if they have to to keep the Democrats out of the White House, but most regard him as a very dangerous choice.

(58,785 posts)His father seems to be, but so far I've never an indication that Cruz is anything but amoral, likely a sociopath, and definitely an extremely ambitious power seeker. Serious question -- Does Cruz really believe he serves God or is he a nonbeliever trying to harness the power of religion for his own use?
Dont call me Shirley
