Bobbi Kristina Brown Died From Combination of Drugs and Drowning, Medical Examiner Says
Source: MSN.com
Bobbi Kristina Brown's cause of death was drowning as well as drug intoxication, the Fulton County Medical Examiner's office revealed in a statement on Friday.
Released over seven months after Brown died at the age of 22 in Georgia, the statement sheds light on her condition when she was found unresponsive in her bathtub on Jan. 21, 2015. (Brown spent months in the hospital, a rehabilitation center and hospice care until her passing on July 26.)
Ahead of the full autopsy release, the Medical Examiner's Office in Atlanta said marijuana and alcohol were involved in the death, as well as sedative medications and drugs used to treat anxiety.

I feel so sorry for the torment she went through and wish also that she could have gotten help with trying to make the heartbreak she was feeling at least easier to bear.

(204,779 posts)I discovered ACOA (Adult Children of Alcoholics), as well as AA, and see so many who are struggling, but I had no idea how much help and support is available out there if only more people knew. And this young woman had so many resources, if only she had known she wasn't alone. From my perspective, that's the key...

(204,779 posts)Kind of goes farther than AA, for those of us with those additional issues. Only about half of my group is also AA, and it's a fairly small group. And I find this surprising, since one thing I hear all the time in AA is "I come from an alcoholic family." But it's not well known, so I try to spread the word. The woman who told me about ACOA has had addiction issues, just not alcohol, and, in turn, I brought someone with me. So glad to hear it's helped you too!

Anyway, personally, I don't blame anyone but Whitney for her issues.
